MONTEVALLO TO HOST ARBOR DAY 2025
Montevallo, Alabama - On Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, the Montevallo Arbor and Beautification Board will hold “Arbor Day 2025” at the Recycling Center, 1120 Overland Road. This year will mark the 33rd annual Arbor Day Celebration in Montevallo.
As a part of the Montevallo Tree City Experience we will have tables set up outside, under tents if necessary, where you can pick up bare root tree seedlings. The format this year will be the same as last year.
The trees will be available from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm or until supplies run out. As in the past these trees will be free.
The seedlings available should include Red Maple, River Birch, Redbud, Silky Dogwood, Persimmon, Nuttall Oak, Baldcypress and American Elm.
