Centennial Park Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Campaign Kickoff in Shelby County
What: United Way of Central Alabama (UWCA), in partnership with the City of Montevallo, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Stephen's Park in Montevallo. This event marks the unveiling of the second of six community parks that honor UWCA's 100-year legacy.
New features at Stephen’s Park include a pavilion that can function as an outdoor classroom, picnic tables built by community volunteers, and two pickleball courts. For more information, visit UnitedWayHandsOn.org.
Additionally, this ceremony signifies the start of the 2023 UWCA Annual Campaign in Shelby County.
