Stephen's Park is located in the beautiful community of Aldrich. Situated on land donated by the generous family of Kermit Stephen's family, this 20-acre park is home to Montevallo Youth Sports. The park features one (1) 310-foot field, one (1) 150-foot field, three (3) 200-foot fields, a large concession stand, a ¾ mile walking trail, and a large fishing pond.
Stephens Park is open sun-up to sun-down, with select sporting events charging admission fees.
 The City's Storm Shelter #1 is located in Stephens Park, 500 Co. Rd 10, Montevallo. It was completed in February 2022 and can shelter up to 96 people. IF/ WHEN there is a TORNADO WATCH or TORNADO WARNING announced in our area the Shelter will OPEN. It will remain open until the TORNADO WATCH, TORNADO WARNING or WEATHER EVENT in our area has expired.
The Shelter will remain open until it is safe for our citizens in the City of Montevallo to return home. Please be weather prepared and aware. Tune in to the local weather service or weather radio for the most up-to-date information.
