Payment on citations must be received before the court date listed on the copy of the citation(s) provided to you.
Money orders / certified checks must be made payable to:

No personal checks accepted. American Express, Discover Card and Visa credit cards are accepted.
*NOTE* As of June 1st, 2024, there will be a convenience fee for using a credit card.
Online Payment Portal
For payments made online using debit/credit cards the convenience fees are assessed by a third party company. The convenience fee for the third party company is higher than the convenience fee the City of Montevallo charges.
No revenue from the online payment portal service fee is received by the City of Montevallo.

In Person
When paying citations in person, bring copy of signed citation(s) along with payment in full to:

By Mail
When mailing payments, (money order/ certified cashier's check), mail a signed copy of the citation(s) along with payment in full.
No partial payments will be accepted unless ordered by the Court. Payments mailed must be received in our office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled court date listed on the citation(s).
